Located in Caithness, Scotland, the Castle of Mey was the much-loved holiday home of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. She was especially devoted to the Castle's beautiful gardens and the flowers that flourished within them. Halcyon Days has collaborated with The Castle of Mey & Gardens Trust to create a delightful English handmade collection inspired by the Castle and its enchanting grounds.

The Shell Garden Candle features a soft cornflower blue and white design, beautifully adorned with vibrant floral bouquets of pansies, primulas, carnations and the Albertine rose—The Queen Mother's favourite flower. Housed in an elegant English fine bone china vessel, accented with luxurious 24ct gold detailing and a matching lid, it is as beautiful to display as it is to enjoy.

Handcrafted in the heart of England by skilled artisan candlemakers. Each candle contains 200g of premium specialist wax made using British-sourced materials, with an approximate burn time of up to 30 hours. Carefully created for a clean, long-lasting burn, each candle fills the home with a beautifully crafted fragrance. For the best performance, trim the wick to approximately 5mm before each use, allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface during the first burn and do not burn for more than four hours at a time.

Filled with a premium fragranced wax, this luxury candle brings a warm, inviting ambience to any home. Once the candle has been enjoyed, the fine bone china vessel can be treasured and repurposed, making it a timeless keepsake and a charming gift for any occasion.
